C17200 beryllium copper plate/bar – mold core, Hot runner nozzle

Beryllium copper is a kind of Wuxi bronze with beryllium as the main alloy component. It contains 1.7~2.5% beryllium and a small amount of nickel, chromium, titanium and other elements. After quenching and aging treatment, the strength limit can reach 1250~1500MPa, close to the level of medium strength steel. In the quenching state, it has good plasticity and can be processed into various semi-finished products. Beryllium bronze has high hardness, elastic limit, fatigue limit and wear resistance, as well as good corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity and conductivity. It does not produce sparks when impacted. It is widely used as an important elastic element, wear-resistant parts and explosion-proof tools.

Beryllium copper is indeed a form of Wuxi bronze that incorporates beryllium as its primary alloy component. This alloy typically consists of 1.7% to 2.5% beryllium, along with small amounts of nickel, chromium, titanium, and other elements. Once subjected to quenching and aging treatments, it exhibits an impressive strength limit ranging from 1250 to 1500MPa, comparable to medium strength steel.

In its quenched state, beryllium copper demonstrates excellent plasticity, allowing for the manufacturing of various semi-finished products. Notably, it possesses remarkable properties such as high hardness, elastic limit, fatigue limit, and wear resistance. Additionally, it showcases good corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity, and electrical conductivity. An interesting feature is that it does not produce sparks upon impact.

Due to its outstanding characteristics, beryllium copper finds extensive use as a crucial material for elastic elements, wear-resistant components, and explosion-proof tools. It is widely utilized in various industries for its reliability and versatility.
